IT firm Tech Mahindra on Monday said it will allot 45,000 equity shares under its employee stock option plan.

Auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday said it has agreed to acquire 5.5 per cent of IT firm Tech Mahindra's stake from UK-based British Telecommunications Plc (BT). UKs largest fixed-line phone company BT holds 30 per cent stake in Tech Mahindra.

AT&T Inc, the largest telecom services provider in the US, has acquired an 8.07 per cent stake in Pune-headquartered Tech Mahindra for $34.5 million (around Rs 160 crore) by exercising a 2005 option agreement to buy a stake in the company. Its stake at Tuesday's prices on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), however, is worth around Rs 900 crore.

The company will support us by offering its technology expertise in football. We will go together for the two World Cups." American chip behemoth Nvidia Corp and India's retail-to-refining giant Reliance Industries on Thursday unveiled their goal to build a formidable AI computing infrastructure in the country. Highlighting the tie-up, Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, made a broader appeal: India should focus on "manufacturing" AI, rather than racing to build semiconductor fabs. As part of this collaboration, Nvidia will reportedly supply its Blackwell AI processors to power Reliance's one-gigawatt data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
